HOW TO JAILBREAK AMAZON FIRE STICK 2017

Amazon released an update to the Fire TV Stick that has stopped many previous Kodi install methods from working.

But not to worry as Kodi can still be installed after the update.

There is a new method using a free App called Downloader that makes it very simple to install Kodi to the Fire Stick without using a computer.

An Amazon account is needed to get the Downloader App. A free trial account can be used if needed.

Using a good VPN with Kodi is always suggested for privacy and security. If you need a good low cost VPN to use with Kodi Try IPVanish it has multiple high speed servers with no throttling or logs.

HOW TO SHARE LOCATION AND DIRECTION WITH GOOGLE MAPS

Google Maps makes it easy to share both your location and directions.
Google Maps recently added a new location-sharing feature to its app for iPhone and iPad. This is useful when you're trying to meet up with people, especially in large areas like parks or beaches. You can easily choose who you share with, how long you share, and how. The app also makes it easy to share directions to destinations, great for getting input on potential routes or for planning shared trips with other drivers.
Here's how you can share your locations and directions with Google Maps.

  • How to share your location directly with Google Maps
Google Maps offers a couple of different methods for sharing your location. The first is sharing directly in Google Maps itself with people on your Google Contacts list.
  1. Open Google Maps on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap the Menu button (looks like three stacked lines)
  3. Tap Share location
Open Google Maps, tap Menu, tap Share location

    1. Tap Share location.
Open Google Maps, tap Menu, tap Share location
    2. Tap Get Started.
    3. Tap the + or - buttons to increase or decrease the amount of time your location is shared with people. Alternatively, tap Until you turn this off to deactivate location sharing manually.
    4. Tap Select People to share your location directly through Google Maps.
    5. Tap Get Started, tap + or -, tap Select People
      1. Tap the icons of the people that you want to share your location with.
      2. Tap Share.
      3. Tap Turn On.
      4. Select people, tap Share, tap Turn on

How the iPhone 8 and iOS 11 could make you a better photographer

Apple’s (AAPL) iPhones have been at the forefront of smartphone photography since the beginning. And with the 10th anniversary iPhone coming in just a few short weeks, Apple is gearing up to prove it’s got the best camera tech around.
While we don’t yet know the specifics of the iPhone 8’s camera — how many megapixels it captures, what kind of optical zoom it will offer — we do know the kind of software updates Apple is bringing to iOS 11 to improve how you shoot and edit your photos.
Here’s how Apple is putting photography front and center in iOS 11.

Portrait of an iPhone

Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus sports two distinct camera lenses: a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens with a 2x zoom. By combining the two, the company is able to create a bokeh effect, in which the subject in the foreground is in focus and the background is blurred.
The feature, which Apple calls Portrait mode, since it makes for some great portrait shots, is currently in beta, but will get a full release with iOS 11. The final version of Portrait mode will see significant improvements including the ability to capture images using the camera’s flash and HDR features, as well as its image stabilization capabilities.
That means those fancy photos you take of your cat sitting on your couch like a little gentleman will look even better with iOS 11.

Live photos will be worthwhile

I’ve never been the biggest fan of Apple’s Live Photos feature. That’s because the tiny video clips take up more space than individual photos, shrinking the amount of pictures you can natively save to your phone. But I’m willing to give them another shot with iOS 11.
Apple managed to pique my interest with Live Photos thanks to the upcoming addition of three new settings for the feature: Bounce, Loop and Long Exposure. Bounce lets you play your video forward
then backwards, creating cool physics-breaking effects like jumping out of a pool cannonball-style, while Loop repeats a clip over and over. Neither of those is particularly unique, though, as social media sites like Instagram (FB) and Snapchat (SNAP) already let you create similar effects.

But Long Exposure — the effect that holds a camera’s shutter open longer than normal and is responsible for those slick photos of highways with car headlights that look like long streaks — looks genuinely fun. It’ll also likely make for some interesting shots from Apple’s army of users.

Editing gets real

Apple’s Photos desktop app has plenty of solid built-in editing features. The problem is they’re all hidden by default. And for the average consumer that’s pretty much the same as them not existing at all. I’m a tech writer who uses a Mac every day, and I didn’t realize the app had such robust editing tools until my friend showed them too me.
With macOS High Sierra, though, Apple is bringing those editing tools to the surface. That means instead of a relatively blank list of tools, Photos will now provide you with a list of options to adjust your images.
Apple is also adding a new Curves tool that lets you adjust the contrast of your images and Selective Color that gives you the ability to only change certain color ranges.
The tech giant says it will also now let you open third-party editing programs like Pixelmator from the Photos app and save your adjustments back to the app. Apple says that changes you make to your images won’t be destructive, either. So even if you really mess up a photo, you’ll always be able to return it to its original form with ease.
You’ll also now be able to edit your Live Photos in the Photos app. That means you can shorten the shot, change the frame it begins or ends on, and even edit the key, or lead, image for the Live Photo.
What’s more, you can use the feature to grab exact frames you want from your Live Photo. So if you’ve got a particularly antsy pup or kitten that won’t sit still long enough for you to get that perfect shot, you can jump into Photos and edit the Live Photo to grab the best image from the clip.
Those are the biggest changes we expect from Apple’s Photos software, for now. But chances are the iPhone 8’s camera will sport new features, as well.
So will the next iPhone be able to fully replace your more expensive dedicated DSLR camera and photo editing tools? We’ll find out when Apple unveils the iPhone 8 this fall.

IOS 10.3.1 JAILBREAK WITH PANGU TEAM AROUND THE CORNER

We finally have some news on the iOS 10.3.1 jailbreak. It looks like Pangu Team, who have released the jailbreak for iOS 9, have allegedly demoed a jailbreak for iOS 10.3.1 at a tech conference in China.
Based on the image shared on the Chinese social media website from the tech conference, it looks like the Pangu jailbreak app is jailbreaking an iPhone 7 running on iOS 10.3.1.  The image was apparently shared by a member of the Pangu team. It is also being speculated that the Pangu team is working with the developers of PP Assistant, and could release the iOS 10.3.1 jailbreak as early as next week.
That image shows a familiar-looking Pangu jailbreak app running on a blown-up iPhone with the word “Jailbreaking…” in the middle of the display. Above the image is a title, which clearly shows “iPhone 7 iOS 10.3.1” to signify that the app is liberating Apple’s latest iPhone running the latest public firmware.

Further speculation has been driven by a post to social media, in Chinese, from what is being described as a “reliable source”:
正在和pp助手公司谈合作。如果谈妥,一周之内发布10.3-10.3.1 jailbreak
The translation is roughly as follows:
We are working with PP Assistant company. If agreed, within a week released 10.3-10.3.1 jailbreak.
Twitter user qwerty860320 has also shared a brief video, which seems to show Cydia running on an iPhone. The text also seems to suggest that it was on an iPhone 7 running iOS 10.3.1.
qwerty860320 also claims that the jailbreak will support all 64-bit devices which means that the Pangu iOS 10.3.1 Jailbreak will be compatible with the following devices:
  • iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE
  • iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad Pro
  • iPod Touch 6G
However, it’s worth exercising some caution and taking a deep breath before making all kinds of assumptions. Pangu has essentially been out of the public eye from a jailbreak perspective since the release of Pangu9. It’s very possible that exploiting iOS 10.3.1 is nothing more than a security research project for the team, and that it has no intentions of actually releasing something to the public.
It’s also very possible that whatever solution the team has to jailbreak iOS 10.3.1 isn’t actually in a position to be publicly release. After all, a simple image doesn’t give away the complexities of what is actually involved.
However, given Pangu’s previous relationship with the jailbreak community, and the fact that we have a presumably genuine social media post outlining the intention to release, we could find ourselves with a new iOS 10.3.1 jailbreak tool sooner rather than later.

In the meantime, remain calm! Do not update any jailbroken device. Save your .shsh2 blobs with TSS Saver for iOS 10.3.1, and you will be able to update later with Prometheus. If you are not on a jailbroken firmware, you have a tougher choice, update, or not update? I would notupdate any 32-bit devices, as they are likely not supported. 64-bit devices on iOS 10.2.1, and iPhone 7(+) on iOS 10.2 have the choice in their own hands. I would still not update these devices, and instead wait a few more days to see if this rumour is substantiated or debunked. It will then be possible to make the final decision a day or two before the closing of the iOS 10.3.1 signing. This is of course for you to decide for yourself however.

APPLE STOPS SIGNING IOS 10.3.2, DOWNGRADING NO LONGER POSSIBLE

Apple systematically stops signing older firmware for its mobile devices a couple of weeks after a new firmware release to prevent downgrades. Although they’re slightly late this time around, they’ve closed the signing window for iOS 10.3.2 three weeks following the release of iOS 10.3.3.
Now that Apple has stopped signing iOS 10.3.2, iOS device owners will not be able to downgrade back to the OS. With no iOS 10.3 based jailbreak in sight, there’s little reason for one to run a slightly older build of iOS 10.3 on their iPhone or iPad.
iOS 10.3.2 was a minor update aimed at fixing some security vulnerabilities. Similarly, iOS 10.3.3 is also a minor release aimed at fixing some security vulnerabilities in the OS including a vulnerability that could allow a hacker to execute arbitrary code on the Wi-Fi chip of certain iPhone models. So, if you have not already updated your iPhone or iPad to iOS 10.3.3, make sure to do it right away.
Apple’s choice to stop signing older firmware versions is without a doubt fueled by a desire to keep jailbreaking at bay in addition to keeping its devices as safe from malware and other threats as possible.
iOS 10.3.3 is the last release of iOS before Apple releases iOS 11 later in September. The upcoming version of the OS comes with a plethora of new features including a redesigned lock screen and notification center, redesigned Messages app, smarter Siri, and more.

APPLE SEEDS IOS 11 BETA 4 TO DEVELOPERS

Apple has just seeded iOS 11 beta 4 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to its registered developers for testing purposes, two weeks after releasing the third beta and more than a month after introducing the new update at the Worldwide Developers Conference.

iOS 11 introduces some significant design changes, including a customizable Control Center and a new Lock screen that’s merged with the Notification Center. Peer-to-peer Apple Pay payments are being introduced in the Messages app, which is also gaining a new App Drawer, and there’s a new Do Not Disturb feature that is designed to help drivers stay focused on the road. Siri, Photos, the Camera app, and more are also gaining new features and refinements.
You can grab the latest iOS 11 beta from your developer account. If you already have the beta installed, you will automatically receive an OTA update to the latest build. And if you are a public iOS beta tester, Apple should roll out a new public beta of iOS 11 later this week.
iOS 11 is available for both registered developers and public beta testers and will see two more months of testing ahead of a prospective September release date alongside new iPhones
